Fergus enjoyed exploring the garden and playing with toys, and throwing a stick was something he enjoyed running after, but didn’t bring it back.
Tying the stick to a long thick string and dragging it about quickly provided lots of fun for Fergus. He would sometimes catch the stick and walk off with it and I would drag it back when he let go.
This kept him busy for a while, but eventually he would tire and just relax and start to explore the things around him, like grass or if something moved in the grass, everything was fascinating.
As a puppy he had the concentration of a gnat, and would constantly be distracted flitting from one thing to the next like a butterfly randomly floating from flower to flower.
