At the end of 2022 when Fergus had reached six months, we spent Christmas at home, but went with other family up to Glencoe village to bring in the new year.
Other family dogs include Brodie, Fergus’ brother and two miniature labradoodles called Rosie and Sally.
Brodie and Fergus are quite a handful when they get together as all they seem to do is play fight the whole time, and we were a bit apprehensive about a week of their boisterous behaviour. The doodles aren’t too impressed either, and they constantly bark at them if they come near during their play.
The first couple of days were quite heavy going with the constant wrestling match between the big dogs, and the concern that they might cause some damage if they got carried away. However things started to settle more as the days went by, mainly because they became more tired.
Every day we went for long walks around the area exploring, although the weather wasn’t always kind, we had a good time. Being out of season it was very quiet, although there were still some tourists around.
