The summer of 2021 began well, really nice, hot and sunny, ideal for a new Vizsla puppy playing and getting to know his new surroundings, as well as experiencing new things.
One of the things Fergus was able to enjoy was water. He didn’t much like the rain, but enjoyed playing in water. For this reason a fence was quickly added around the garden pond, to avoid any temptation.
Instead I put a doggy paddling pool in the garden and encouraged Fergus to explore this new idea, which he was unsure of at first, but then eventually became very confident running up to it and jumping in at will.
In the video you can see Fergus jumping in to retrieve the ball and enjoying the water in the glorious weather.
