Fergus up at 8.10am although I didn’t go along straight away as he quietened. Went along at 8.25am and he was still quiet. Had breakfast and he was sleeping about 9.25am then up at 10.00am too short. We went for a walk up the road on lead through woods and played in garden. Puzzle game got tired resisting sleep, had to put in crate. 11.15am sleeping. Awake about 12.30pm. Played in garden walked round and later he got bitey again. Resisting sleep. Got bored of a puzzle treat. Sleeping 2.00pm. Up again about 3.10pm. Needed him to go to sleep again at about 4.00pm but he didn’t so had to put him on his crate and leave him barking while I went to the garage. He was sleeping when I got back and woke up so after at 4.40pm. Played in garden then I made tea. He ate his tea eventually after I put him out the back while I ate my tea in peace. He went to sleep I had a shower. He was awkward after this biting, barking. Later we were on the settee for a good while he was good then the usual biting me ripping cover. Put in crate at 9.30pm up again at 10.40pm. Went for a walk up the road where he did everything. Before we went, like last night he wouldn’t move, deciding not to go. But he didn’t have an option. Also when we are out he tries to decide when we are coming back, so turns and sits down or guides me off to the side then heads back. None of this works. Bed at 11.30pm.

Fergus up at 8.30am today. Walk round garden and breakfast, but a change today. Normally he goes back to sleep for up to two hours, but today he has resisted, but is lying in the sun instead. He is a bit bitey and going for my stuff, shoes, gloves etc stuff I told him off about yesterday. Even though I have moved all these things he is climbing in a determined effort to get them. He almost went to sleep on my lap, but when I moved inside ready to put him in his crate, he went back outside.
Has come in and gone into his crate and quickly asleep at 10.00am. Up again just before 10.30am far too short a sleep. Might last an hour.
Played games fetch and puzzle treat, went for walk on lead up the road and through the woods. Sleeping again about 12.00 pm till 1.00pm. More play in the garden. Sleeping again at 2.00pm till about 3.40pm up and still tired sleeping again after 4.00pm up for tea then another sleep off an on most of evening. We went on his first trip out to Pease Bay, which was fine when there, but the journey was noisy as he barked there and back. Had some time on settee before going to bed about 10.30pm. Up at 11.30pm and out for a long walk and in bed by about 12.15am.

Fergus up at 8.30 although I was up before him. He didn’t go to sleep as usual after our walk in the garden. Instead he resisted for a long time, but this allowed me to get ready to go to the shops. Eventually he was in his crate sleeping at 11.00am. I went to shops and was back by 1.45pm the longest I have left him. Barking on my return.
Walks, play, puzzles during the afternoon with a variety of sleeps where he went himself. In the evening after tea we went to Dunbar. He barked all the way there, seemed to enjoy his visit although he was a bit scared of the new noises and other dogs barking. Quieter on way back. Had a pleasant chewing session on the settee before needing to have a sleep. Back on settee later then out for final walk where all business done. Bed by 11.10pm.

Fergus up at 9.10am best yet. Today he slept off and on as usual and in the evening we went to Cocklawburn beach near Berwick. He barked and whined most of the way there and back and tried to scratch his way out. Enjoyed the beach and meeting a couple of other dogs and people.

Up at 8.30am big adventure today as we went to Bathgate to see his brother. He barked most of way there but was tired and slept most of way back. Fergus and his brother, Brodie, play fight constantly when they are together. He was exhausted with all the fighting and running about. Ate big meal when we got back.

Fergus up at 3.10 we went round garden he did business and drank gallons of water and ate more food. Back in bed then up at 9.10. Tired and sleeping most of the day, which is always the same after a visit with his brother, as they never stop. Quiet day ahead so not so bad. 😉
