While out in our local forest on our usual afternoon walk, the weather changed quite suddenly and it started to snow.
This was Fergus’ first experience of the white stuff falling from the sky and he was quite surprised and curious as to why his landscape was changing from green to white.
He was very interested in this white, wet, fluffy, cold carpet that he was now walking on. After checking it out I started to make some snowballs for him to ‘fetch’, which was funny.
He was keen to catch the ‘ball’ as he would usually, but when it landed it just disappeared and he was quite baffled as to where it had gone.
We had a bit of fun and he had now experienced snow, but much like rain, he isn’t keen on walking in it when it’s falling from the sky, he doesn’t like getting wet!
